Help out the OBC and our friends at the Nano Beer Fest by volunteering to serve beer during the weekend of Saturday, April 27, 2019 and Sunday, April 28, 2019. Non-OBC members may do this as well. We need a minimum of 10 volunteers each shift.
Volunteers each receive free entry, a fest shirt, and drink tokens which may be used only the day before your shift or after your shift is complete unless it is the last shift of the day. So if you work on Sunday, come in on Friday or Saturday to get your tokens and drinking cup. OLCC rules say you can't drink before pouring beer or drink while pouring beer, so drink at another time and always drink responsibly. If you work two shifts, you get double tickets.
This is an opportunity for OBC friends and family. This is what you need to do: You will be asked to join OBC, but do not pay unless you want to join this awesome club. There is no charge to volunteer, and we only need details to contact you to remind you of your shift.
Nano Fest is a great opportunity to hang out with nano brewers themselves since they like to tell attendees about their beers, and will often pour. It also helps OBC -- we get a portion of proceeds (10% this year) from the festival in return for our volunteer efforts. No OLCC permit is required, anyone can volunteer if they are 21 or older!
