AGENDA: Ted Hausotter of Hop Heaven is going to be talking to us about hops. I'm super excited about this presentation, Ted is an excellent human and has some serious beer chops: he's a BJCP Grand Master IV and a hop broker. It will be a 45 minute presentation with a 15 minute q&a session after - bring your questions, there isn’t much Ted doesn’t know about hops! In addition to general info about hops, he'll be talking about the following beers, if anyone wants to drink along: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Buoy Pilsner Big Sky Moose Drool Deschutes Lil’ Squeezy juicy ale (All 4 beers are currently in stock at the Fred Meyer on Broadway and are thus likely available at most of Mr. Meyer’s fine local establishments.) If you haven't used his hops, I highly recommend ordering from him. Hop Heaven's hops are the highest quality I've ever used - they're so sticky that you need to hit them with a mallet to break up the pellets. His hops are well worth trying out.
