The sensory workshop will give you the opportunity to train your palate for beer flavors, defects and hop aromas. We'll be using the BJCP flavor kit that contains
pre-measured “standards” representing some of the most important flavors and aromatics found in beer, allowing you to build your skills towards understanding beer flavor at a truly professional level. We will also be dry hopping various hops into a mild beer so you'll be able to really experience the differences in aroma between hop varieties.
More information about the training kits
The cost to attend this workshop is $10 for OBC members, $15 for non-members.
Food will be provided between the BJCP and hop aroma sections.
Space is limited to 25 people, due to the limited supply of materials.
