5th Annual Washington Mead & Cider Cup sponsored by the Greater Everett Brewers League

Come test your cider and mead-making prowess in what is becoming a truly northwest competition…The Washington Mead & Cider Cup.

This is an AHA/BJCP Competition as well as a 2014 WAHOTY Qualifier. The Greater Evertt Brewers League is hoping for a record turnout this year with drop-off locations down the I-5 Corridor (including Vancouver, Portland, and Hillsboro). Competition information can be found here.

Entries for all mead and cider categories, 24-28 of the BJCP Guidelines will be accepted for this competition. Registration for entries as well as registering to judge or steward can be found here. DEADLINE for submitting entries is February 28, 2014.

Judging will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Reliance Network in Bellevue, WA, beginning at 9:00AM. A judging clinic will also be held at 8:30AM hosted by Mark Tanner, the 2013 NHC Mead Maker of the year, and Laura and Tavish Sullivan, the 2013 NHC Cider Makers of the year.
